White Tantric Yoga

The Mahan Tantric, Yogi Bhajan, has put the peerless technology of White Tantric, the Z force, the diagonal energy, on videotape. These numinous tapes tour the world each year stopping about 33 times to create a vast inter-dimensional grid of light and healing.

We are living through an extraordinary period of increased celestial energies. Yogi Bhajan has told us that the Sun's increased energy has not been experienced on this planet for the last three and a half million years. The sun flares--explosions, really-last week were off the scales we have used to measure the sun's activities in the past. Imagine great clouds of plasma gas being shot out of the sun and hitting against the earth's magnetic field causing the magnetic field to ring like a bell. This is all part of the increased energetic frequencies that we have discussed in previous messages. We then moved into the birthday of Guru Nanak, the absolute master of the shuniya, the zero state, who we link to when we practice Kundalini and White Tantric yoga. Yogi Bhajan declared Guru Nanak as the Guru for the Aquarian age when he first came here to the west in 1969. Then on Guru Nanak's birthday, during the full lunar eclipse, we had the Harmonic Concordance, an astrological alignment not seen for thousands of years, which has opened up a vast opportunity to accelerate our spiritual growth. We are in a time of great historic change: and to ride with the dramatically increased energetic frequency, we need to inter-lock with the energy and let the heavenly forces carry us upward---OR---We can miss the inter-lock and the energy will scatter us and lead us downward into fear and depression. The technology to inter-lock with the energy is found in the vast science of Kundalini yoga and finds its supreme expression in the practice of White Tantric yoga.

There is only one Mahan Tantric on the planet at any one time. Yogi Bhajan's teacher, Sant Hazara Singh, was the Mahan Tantric, and when he died the energy moved to one of his students, a Tibetan, Lama Lilan Po. In 1971, Lama Lilan Po died, and the Mahan Tantric energy moved to Yogi Bhajan. From 1971 till 1986, Yogi Bhajan toured the world teaching about 33 White Tantric courses each year. He said that he taught White Tantric more than anyone else in its 5000 year old history. Since 1987, when his health would no longer allow him to teach courses in person, Yogi Bhajan has used the technology of videotape to teach the courses through his subtle body.

From 1982 to 1986, I traveled the world attending just about every Tantric course that Yogi Bhajan taught. I think I missed about four courses during this period. This remarkable run did fascinating things to my psyche, and each day, now many years later, I still feel the increasing effects of the White Tantric energy. Here I offer two or three things I learned from the Master over those so many days in those so many cities.

Reality has a dimension. It has a length, a breadth, and a structure that can be measured by tantra. Mental reality and mental projection is measured by black tantra. Sexual reality is measured by red tantra. Tantra used for physical bondage is black. Tantra used for physical pleasure is red. Black tantra is momentary for a purpose. Red tantra is for an expression, a concession, of life here on earth. Tantra used to uplift your soul is white. White tantra goes to the root, goes to the heavens and the earth, goes to the now and the hereafter. So the black and red tantras are considered a waste of time.

There is a perpendicular energy and there is a parallel energy. These are the two energies running the planet. Perpendicular is "I" command, "You" obey. Parallel energy is "I" and "You" work together. Perpendicular energy is for obedience and growth; parallel energy for equalization. Then there is Tantric energy, the diagonal energy: the energy which moves us and makes us competent. Everything has a structure, a longitude and latitude, a nucleus where the energy crosses. The supporting force is the diagonal energy of the tantra. Then every tantra has a pratantra which is the projection. If the projection and the diagonal force are correct then the individual is sovereign and supreme.

There are two powers on this planet: lens and lever. Lens is the intuition, the third eye. Lens lets you see the unseen. Lever is the prayer. Lever allows you to move that which cannot be moved. Prayer is the absolute application of the lever, the diagonal power-it is the Tantric power. As Yogi Bhajan says: "There is no prayer without the Tantric energy." It is only the diagonal power which moves within a perpendicular and parallel world.

Without the lens and lever we serve only our emotions. Emotions are blinding and in that darkness we become fearful. If our lever is not at an angle, and our lens is not clear and at its optimum fixture, our life is foggy, clouded by emotions and commotions, and we suffer. Kundalini yoga is based on the principle to provide a human being with a lens and a lever, to give inner intuition and inner courage to achieve. It is a science.

Life is full of three things: Square, Triangle, and Angle. Square has angles. Triangle has angles. Tantric energy, the diagonal put to the square, creates two triangles. In astrology we say we have good luck when our Venus is trine with our Jupiter and with our Mars. It means they are a triangle. This is auspicious and we will get this, we will get that.

There is another word for this--Rakh. It is from the mantra we use in our morning sadhana: Rakay Rakhan Har. Rakh means pivoted blessing. The White Rakh, from the White Tantric, is an endless pearl of blessing going on for generations-- for the here and the hereafter. It penetrates the heavens. It brings all the earthly treasures and heavenly riches to us.

As Yogi Bhajan says, "To experience yourself and all in you, in that unison-ness, is the beauty of life. Otherwise you will be the victim of your perpetual and permanent fear. For every success, for every achievement, for every love, the pleasure comes from the newness, enjoying the newness. But there is also a pleasure which is everlasting in which you become ANEW all the time. That's the DIAGONAL ENERGY, that's the WHITE TANTRIC ENERGY."
