Stop Procrastination, this is the best mantra to do that, to get things done. To keep you focused so that you can finish anything. ( Including housework)
Tune in - before doing anything,
Put your palms together in Prayer Pose,
thumbs, resting on your heart chakra, fingers pointing up
Chant:
Really connect.
ONG NAMO,
GURU DEV NAMO
Do it until you feel calm and present.
Repeating it a minium of 3
to 5 times is sufficient.
In the following YouTube, Guru Singh,
a Kundalini Yoga teacher of 35 years, explains how to tune in.
Sat Naam, Sat Naam, Sat Naam
Sat Naam, Sat Naam, Sat Naam
Wha-hay Gu-roo
How to do it:
Stretch your arms out straight in front of the Heart Charka, parallel to the ground, palms together, then open your palms so they face out and only the wrists are touching. You want to do the mantra on one breath. Focus your eyes on the tip of your nose. Do it for 11 minutes every day.
It takes 40 days to break a habit
90 days to gain the new habit
120 days and you are the habit
1,000 days you are the Master of it
This kriya develops will power and gives the capacity to understand the elements of your personality. It is used to overcome difficulty in completing projects and doing what you intend.

Comment: I have done mantra for 3 - 120 days and it has not stayed with me. Other people have done only 1-120 days and are ok, they don't need to do anymore. So we are all different, I can either do this 3 times a week or every 2 weeks seems to work, but then, I forget to do it and realize that I am getting nothing done, and have to start again, so I have decided to go for the 1,000 day commitment. If I am going to do it every day, then I might as well.

The other thing I find really useful on your site is the Table of Contents of every book! It's really precious. Thank you for taking the time to do that.
