This book is a treasure trove of breath-based and meditative practices for a student of any practice to explore. It can be used for relieving stress, increasing energy, developing self-confidence, or even for a deep transformational experience.

Drawing from a astoundingly rich wealth of yogic history, Yogi Bhajan reveals dozens of previously unknown and hidden techniques for enhancing spiritual, mental and physical growth - grouped appropriately into chapters and by techniques.

At times, Praana Praanee Praanayam can feel a bit overwhelming because of its depth of information, but those parts are balanced out by plenty of practical (1-3 minute) techniques - making these practices very easy to access. It's an open structure - how you progress is up to you.

I'd recommend this for any student of yoga, martial arts, Qi Gong, Buddhism, or meditative, mystical, or spiritual practice - heck, even Christians! It's filled with universal knowledge about our bodies, so I'd highly recommend it for any "everyday man/woman" to get to know their own body and mind.

This is a one-book library of practical pranic techniques which work on so many levels; to calm the mind, relieve stress (even "centuries old stress" as Yogi Bhajan puts it), develop virtues, increase breath capacity, connect to God, or just to build a new sense of a relaxed and confident self.
