Translation: Ra is the sun. Ma is the moon. Da is the earth. Sa is infinity.
Say is Thou. So Hung is I am Thou.

Yogi Bhajan said this is the most powerful healing mantra he taught. When you want to heal yourself or another, this is the mantra to use.

The Siri Gaitri Mantra, and is one of the most powerful mantras known and is extraordinarily effective in dealing with health challenges. When you want to heal yourself or other this is the mantra to use. It is powerful. It is universal. It works on many levels; the mental, spiritual, emotional, and physical. You can instill the health trend in your consciousness by injecting this strong healing vibration into your mind. Then your actions and whole being will obey that thought.

find p166 BOOK: Kundalini Yoga by Shakta Kaur Khalsa

In the words of Yogi Bhajan, Master of White Tantric and Kundalini Yoga, who openly taught this healing mantra to the Western world,

"It has worked for three thousand, four hundred years, why should it not work now?"

RAM RAM HARI RAM

Posture and Practice: Sit with a straight spine. Bring your left arm up parallel to the ground, elbow bent, hand in front of your heart center, palm facing the Earth. Stretch your right arm out to the side and bend your elbow at a 90 degree angle with your palm facing forward, your hand in gyan mudra, fingers pointing to the Sky.

Time: 11 to 31 minutes
Eyes: Close your eyes. Time: 11 to 31 minutes
End: When you finish, inhale and hold the breath for 20 to 30 seconds.
Relax and exhale. Then inhale and hold the breath again for 20 to 30 seconds.

Then relax the breath and the posture and sit for a few minutes in silence and gratitude, allowing the meditation to integrate into your being.

Director of Training for Kundalini Research Institute: " When you want to open your heart, stand before your soul and realize the intimacy between you and your Infinity, chant this. Listen to the mantra as you chant it. Become completely still and let the subtle structure of the sound shape the lens of your inner eye to see intuitively who you are and the next step to take." - Gurucharan Singh Khalsa, PhD

In Yogi Bhajan's Words: "This is a special Naad that preceded in time the Panj Shabd. "

(Note: Yogi Bhajan is saying that this mantra came even before
the mantra Sa Ta Na Ma which is known as the Panj Shabd)

"It has a distinct structure to each movement of the sound.

The first Ram invokes the creativity and blessing of the universal magnetic field and existence. The second Ram consolidates and protects that magnetic field and creation. The third Ram completes and gives peace through the time of death. The final Hari's are the platform of the four corners that elevates you in consciousness as you journey across the earth.

The first half of the mantra is a relationship in Naad to the infinite and formless existence and nonexistence.

The second half is guidance through the experiences of form and earth. Together the two parts of this mantra are a polarity that takes you beyond polarity to experience and project your original self." - Yogi Bhajan

Meditation taken from Snatam Kaur's new release: Meditations for Transformation: Experience and Project Your Original Self

Jis simarat sukh ho-eh sagalay dookh jaa-eh

NOTE: This mantra is spelled exactly, in accordance with KRI's International Kundalini Yoga, Teacher Training, Textbook, Level One, Instructor; Copyright 1969-2005.

Translation: Oh Savior Lord, save us and take us across. Falling at the feet ofthe Guru, our works are embellished with perfection. You have become kind, merciful and compassionate. We do not forget You from our minds. In the company of the holy, we are carried across the terrifying world ocean. In an instant, You have destroyed the faithless cynics and slanderous enemies. That Lord and Master is my anchor and support. 0 Nanak hold firm in your mind. Remembering Him in meditation, happiness comes and all sorrows and pains simply vanish.

Rakhe Rakhanhaar is one of the seven mantras Yogi Bhajan assigned in 1991 (to help us transition into the Aquarian Age) for our morning sadhana. This is a Shabad of protection against all negative forces which move against one's walk on the path of destiny, both inner and outer.

RAY MAN (Re Man) SHABAD

Ray man eh bidh jog kamaa-o
Singee saach akapat kanthalaa
Dhi-aan Bibhoot charaa-o
Taatee geho aatam bas kar kee
Bhicchhaa naam adhaarang
Baajay param taar tat har ko
Upajai raag rasaarang
Ughatai taan tarang rang
Gi-aan geet bandhaanang
Chak chak rehay dayv daanav mun
Chhak chhak bayom bivaanang
Aatam upadays bhays sanjam ko
Jaap so ajapaa jaapa
Sadaa rehai kanchan see kaayaa
Kaal na kabahoo bayaapai

Translation: Oh my mind, practice Yoga in this way: Let Truth be your horn, sincerity your necklace, and meditation the ashes you apply on your body.

Catch your burning soul (self) and stop the flames. Let the soul (self) be the alms bowl in which you collect the sweet Naam and this will be the only support you will ever need. The Universe plays its divine music. The sound of reality is shrill, but this is where God is.

When you listen to the reality from this place of awareness the sweet essence of Raag arises. Waves of melodies, emotions, and passions arise and flow through you. Bind yourself with the song of God.

The Universe spins like a potter's wheel and from it fly demons and angels. The sage listens to this and instead of getting caught in either one, the sage drinks the nectar of the heavens and is carried to the heavens in a divine chariot.

Instruct and clothe yourself with self control. Meditate unto infinity until you are meditating without meditating. In this way, your body shall remain forever golden, and death shall never approach you.

Every year a large group gathers near Rishikesh to Chant the Re-Man.

Recitation of a shabad 11,000 time in one week; kind of like a summer solstice, a little like white tantric, perhaps like 3 years of daily mediation gracefully squeeze into 7 days.

We will sit together and continuously chant the Re-Man Shabad for 7 days until 11.000 repartitions have been completed.

Yogi Bhajan said that chanting the Re-Man 11.000 times gives one the "Golden Aura" of Sat Nam Rasayan in India

The secret of this Shabad is that it is a pure Naad Yoga.

The combination and permutation of sound is totally practical in this Shabad. The tongue creates a certain pressure on the upper palate.

This Shabad has the capacity, if man is bewitched by incurable disease, if sung properly through the tongue and mouth, can bring total health.

Each sound must be said exactly correctly. It can lead to perfect state of mental health and surrounding spirit. It is a great Shabad to meditate to especially while in Bound Lotus Kriya.

REHIRAS SAHIB

Different passages composed by various Sikh Masters. This Bani is recited at sunset. Traditionally, this is the time of day when work is done and one feels tired. This Bani adds energy (raa-hu) to one's being, to one's total concept.

Also, recite it when your worldly wealth is endangered. In Naad (Sound Language), reh means live, and raas means commodity.

Rehiras Sahib helps you when you are physically weak, or weak in money, property and earthly goods.
